Grandson Arlo wanted a sandbox, so I made one for him out of some of the cypress siding salvaged from the old garden shed. It had benches on two sides, and a sun shade supported by four fiberglass rods.

The sun shade takes down and converts to a cover to keep rain and animals (cats and dogs) out of the sand when it is not in use.
